I wrote an application today called Book Barcode Scanner. Using the app you can scan the barcode of a book, get the ISBN number and search for the book details such as price on the web. Here is the video and the complete code for the app.
Over the past few months I got many emails asking me for the source code.
You can buy the source code now.
The video and the code above will show you how to build the prototype. But if you want the source file, click here to buy it for $0.99. I spend a few hours exploring it and building it. It might save you an hour or so.
You will get a zip file. Go to your appinventor instance and upload the zip file to create a new project.
Do you mind giving me the full code?

ReplyDeleteHow do you expect us to use this tool.
ReplyDeleteI bought your code, got some files with .blk and few other extensions.
And then i used it in App Inventor and uploaded the zip file.
And then after that , i got the .apk from Packaging option in App Inventor tool.
I want to see the code inside the APK file .
And also, i have no idea how to use your Bar Code Scanner for my use.
I was expecting a stand alone app, which i can invoke from my Android code.
Please help me in this.
Thanks,
Chellappa
Chellappa, App Inventor does not allow you you access java code. What I provide is an app inventor project file. You can open the file in App Inventor, build on it and create an app that will run on an Android phone. If you want to write an app that you want better control over, I suggest you write Java code from scratch. App Inventor is not the right tool for that.
ReplyDeleteMr. Prashanth, I wanna buy your source code about barcode scanner, but I dont have a credit card, any solution so that i get the source code?
